Erotics Museum
Located in the heart of the city, a small but attractive museum opened to the public in 1997; after a visit of Museu de l'Eròtica, people will realize how important sexuality has always been in art and in the habits and customs of cultures in general.
The prize exhibit is the collection of Chinese and Japanese engravings and some objects produced at the beginning of the 20th century.
There are also interesting Kama Sutra illustrations, Japanese erotic drawings and replicas of African phallic sculptures.
The museum has a notable collection of photos dating from the 1930s, depicting Barcelona's Barrio Chino neighbourhood and its brothels, as well as the "artists" that worked there.
It is open until midnight.
Opening hours: everyday, 11 am to 9 pm from October to May; 10 am to 12 pm from June to September.
